Children's Bike Tow Hitch

We designed and manufactured in house a custom tow hitch for a children's bike. Customer wanted a rigid bike hitch that would enable the user (I.E. the parent) to control the bike at all times. Often hitches or ropes only allow for control in a limited fashion. Our hitch gripped the bike frame securely allowing multiple degrees of force and restraints to be applied.

If the bike started to roll over, the user could grip the handle and apply a counter force or moment to keep it from rolling over.

The handle stowed securely via rotating down and resting on the front forks without rubbing on the front tire.
